About

I am an Astrophysicist specializing in simulations of galaxy clusters. My research focuses on magnetic fields in the Universe, specifically in the intracluster medium. My main tools are cosmological and non-cosmological magneto-hydrodynamics simulations. I am presently serving as a Future Faculty Leaders Fellow at the Institute for Theory and Computation (ITC) within Harvard University, based at the Center for Astrophysics | Harvard & Smithsonian in Cambridge, MA, USA. I did my PhD at the Observatory of the University of Hamburg in Germany and I was also part of the ERC starting grant project MAGCOW based in the University of Bologna in Italy. Commited to mentoring and outreach, I also serve as the co-director of the Science and Research Mentoring Program (SRMP).
